Y5 Cross Country Finals

Well done to the children in Year 5 who attended the Cross Country finals run by Watford Harriers over the weekend. The children qualified for this event via the whole class event from the Autumn Term, which was run via our local School Sport Partnership.

The children managed to achieve some very creditable finishing positions!

A big thank you to the parents who went along to support the children.

Scholastic Book Fair here all week!

The Scholastic Book Fair has arrived in school this week, so why not come and have a look and see if there’s anything you might want Santa to deliver over the festive period*. Books for all ages from 4-11 are catered for within the displays, so there’s bound to be something for everyone! What’s more, if we raise above a certain amount, then Scholastic will give us our total amount raised back in book credit to spend in their catalogues, so making purchases here will allow the school to widen its range of books available as well.

If you are unable to make the fair this week, then please consider using the Scholastic website for your children’s book purchases. They stock a wider range of titles, and the school can also gain free books by earning cashback on every purchase you make that you link to the school. Simply enter our school’s details in the box on this link, and then shop away!

Thank you for your support!

*Please be aware that we can only accept cash for any purchases.
